MY SOLO STORY & THE IMPORTANCE OF "MAKE SOLO 2 HAPPEN"

One of the absolute best things about social media is that you'll find amazing positive vibes and glimmers of hope. For every loud and angry fan online, you'll find a handful, well, more like communities that will talk positively about the fandoms they enjoy and I've been happily seeing that with  Star Wars . And one of those positive fan communities spawns from the 'Star Wars News Net' site in the form of a podcast called 'The Resistance Broadcast' hosted by the site's contributors John Hoey, Lacey Gilleran, and James Baney. The three have wonderful chemistry and an incredible bond that I can't get enough of, but to my surprise they turned out to be the ones that formed the online movement #MakeSolo2Happen. Incredible, right? But as I saw them and others use the hashtag on Twitter, listen to their podcast episodes, or see people in pictures wearing the shirts they sell, which I gladly purchased, it hit me. 5 WAYS TO HANDLE FANDOM TOXICITY AND CRITICISMS

Hey gang! I hope everyone is doing well and I’m back again talking about a subject that's centered around fandom toxicity and criticism in this current age. And I am still reeling in from these sorts of critical responses and understanding how they might come from a place. But without further ado, I hope my personal wisdom serves you well: 1. Set Boundaries First thing's first, if there are nasty comments and or message boards you find regarding whatever you like whether it's

A FAREWELL TO THE CLONE WARS

Hard to believe, right? One of the most expansive and longest-running pieces of Star Wars storytelling finally came to an end on "Star Wars Day" 2020 aka "May the 4th." And as I've experienced the final season on Disney+ and even revisited some episode arcs beforehand, this is no question, one of my new favorite additions to the  Star Wars  saga in full. Not only is it beautifully made with its unique technicalities in the way it looked, felt, and sounded like  Star Wars , but the other elements brought in to make the storytelling so strong in the first place. It was the writing and direction of these episodes that were just so strong to make this ensemble of characters have fleshed out characterizations. Not to mention the way the voice talent breathed life into the characters was an incredible feature as well. The television medium could also open up more about the story that we weren't able to explore in the Prequel Trilogy. What's also so br
